Makai pirces were lower on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low variety lost Rs 100 to Rs 2500 and the fine type also followed same pattern, losing 37 at Rs 2500, Juwar inferior type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2250, the fine type, however, depreciated by Rs 100 to Rs 100 to Rs 2300, other items were unchanged on the same side, they said.

On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was inert at Rs 3180 while the good type fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3200, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) quoted at Rs 900-1000, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams side due to balanced demand and supply position, they said.
